Thanks Julian — I definitely agree with you that ‘business as usual’ is no longer a viable option but I very much disagree that the narrative we go out with doesn’t make a difference. We built a society on disconnection — if we continue to try and ‘fix’ that from a disconnected narrative, we’ll just carry on doing more of the same — potentially hastening things. My overly-simplistic message is we need action + connection, so consume the facts, share the figures but start paying attention (and giving care) to your state and underlying motivations.
